  An ever-growing body of podcasts and articles - mostly in English, sometimes in Afrikaans - is offered in 4 categories:

• Challenging yourself (managing life’s challenges and stages)

  In order to offer this content free of charge to the general public, the experts featured in the podcasts and articles pay a fee for exposure. This is a full turnkey solution including research, drawing up a framework of interview questions, interviewing the guest in person/remotely, writing and publishing an article/recording, editing and publishing a podcast episode, and showcasing the content on social media and through the monthly newsletter for subscribers.

  Experts showcased in podcasts and articles may be featured in the magazines, both hard-copy and online, that Mariette freelances for.

  About the podcasts and articles:

• The podcasts form part of the weekly podcast series Calm, Clear & Helpful, hosted on Iono.fm and extending to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Pocket Casts and Player FM. Each podcast is also represented as a custom-made article on this website, with podcast notes, a photograph of the guest, a summary of what they do, and their contact details.

• The articles are either factual or personal profiles of featured experts. Factual articles are found in the 4 categories (just scroll down on the Home page of this website) while personal articles live in the Up Close & Personal section.

• Podcasts and articles featuring the same expert or similar topics are inter-linked.

• Podcasts and articles are repeatedly showcased on social media and are included in the monthly newsletter for subscribers.

• Articles and podcasts remain available indefinitely.

1 Calm, Clear & Helpful podcast episode: price on request

• 25 – 60+ minutes

• Includes outlining title; research; drawing up a framework of interview questions; organising the recording; interviewing the guest in person/remotely; editing; publishing episode on Iono.fm, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Pocket Casts, Google Podcasts and Player FM; writing podcast notes; incorporating the episode as an article on www.mariettesnyman.co.za including podcast notes, photograph and details of podcast guest; and showcasing the content on social media and through the monthly newsletter for subscribers.

• Includes cost of recording gear, editing software, and all platforms.

• Using a simple code, guests can embed a free web player on their website where visitors can listen to or download their episode.

  2 Up Close & Personal article: price on request

• The expert replies in writing to 8 to 10 questions compiled by Mariette, highlighting their career and/or personal life (depending on their preference). Incorporates the expert’s contact details and personal photographs, if available.

• Includes research, compiling questions, editing, publishing the article with photographs supplied by the expert and/or stock images, and showcasing the article on social media and in the monthly newsletter for subscribers.

• The article is linked to podcast episodes or articles featuring the expert on www.mariettesnyman.co.za

• Please note that only individuals featured in a podcast or factual article on www.mariettesnyman.co.za are introduced in an Up Close & Personal article.
